Construction site update - Demolition of Jeßnitz railroad station
This week, our demolition teams were working on two construction sites at the same time. In addition to the demolition in Haldensleben, our team is also working with 2 of our CAT excavators at Jeßnitz station.
As part of construction work on the railroad line between Wolfen and Dessau, the platforms at the Jeßnitz S-Bahn stop are to be modernized and converted to make them barrier-free. For this reason, the station building, which is more than 100 years old, has to make way and is being demolished by us with a CAT 329 and a CAT 323, separated according to type directly on site and transported away.
Some of the pictures were taken with one of our drones. Otherwise mainly used for surveying purposes, it proves to us here that it can do more.
