Night-time heavy transport from Irxleben to Magdeburg

A heavy goods vehicle leaves Irxleben for Magdeburg in the middle of the night. The mission? Not only to transport the 30-ton excavator to a construction site in the heart of Magdeburg, but also to keep the roads safe while the colossus passes two bridges. With his years of experience, our driver navigates his 3-axle MAN truck with 580 hp effortlessly through the streets and ensures that even the largest construction machines arrive on time at the construction sites of the Stork Group. Together, the truck and excavator weigh 60 tons and are 23 meters long and 3 meters wide. This is why a special permit is required for transportation. For us as a company, this means that we have to apply for a permit from the local road traffic authority and that certain conditions have to be complied with during implementation once the permit has been granted.
