Our handling giant for a major inspection

With its 11.5 m long industrial boom, a total weight of 95 t and equipped with the patented Liebherr energy recovery system, which gives the machine additional power and at the same time saves fuel, our LH 80 is one of the really big ones and makes it indispensable for us in goods and port handling. The long arm is specially designed for use at transhipment ports and can even be used to unload barges at low water levels without any problems. In order not to lose the overview, the driver can look at his working tool from a height of 7.5 m with his fully extended cab and can thus control unloading with pinpoint accuracy.

But whether it's a small machine or a powerhouse, regular maintenance and inspection is important to us and extends its service life. Every 1,000 operating hours, our LH 80 undergoes a major inspection. Similar to a car, oils and fluids are replaced, filters are changed and a visual and functional check is carried out.
