The STORK Group, an international waste management and recycling service provider headquartered in Magdeburg, is pleased to announce the acquisition of SERO Sekundärrohstoffhandel & Industriedemontagen GmbH.
SERO GmbH, founded in 1990 and based in Wittenberg, originally specialized in the dismantling, scrapping and disposal of industrial plants, has developed over the years into an efficient, flexible and professional service company.
SERO GmbH offers a comprehensive range of services throughout Germany:
- *Dismantling and dismantling*: SERO GmbH has been successfully dismantling and deconstructing buildings as well as industrial and chemical plants since 1990.
- Pollutant remediation*: Since 1994, the remediation of building pollutants such as asbestos has been one of the company's core competencies.
- Industrial cleaning*: Since 2001, the technical cleaning of machines, systems through to complete industrial plants and power stations has been successfully carried out.
- Specialist disposal company*: SERO GmbH operates 3 BImSchV-approved plants, a scrap yard, a recycling yard and an interim storage facility for hazardous and non-hazardous waste. SERO GmbH has also been certified as a specialist waste management company since 2016.
With the addition of SERO GmbH, the STORK Group continues to grow and now comprises 18 companies at 11 locations. With the integration of SERO GmbH, the STORK Group is now establishing its second location in Wittenberg. STORK Umweltsanierung GmbH is already active there and is recultivating a former sludge dump in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
STORK has been a leading company in the field of waste disposal and recycling for 30 years and has expanded its activities internationally. A particular focus is on the processing of mineral waste. STORK operates specialized processing plants as well as mobile recycling technology for the processing of ash and slag from waste incineration plants and offers comprehensive services in the field of construction material recycling.
