Traffic initiative Blicki sees it

We at the STORK Group are proud to make a contribution to the safety of our children in road traffic. That's why we visited the Rothensee elementary school in Magdeburg together with "Blicki blickt's". The Blicki e.V. traffic initiative aims to train children in the correct way to handle trucks on the road and to teach them vital road safety rules using a real truck.
As part of a 4-stage workshop, the children were able to get to know our truck up close, take the driver's seat, check for hazards such as the "blind spot" and, of course, try out the horn. Our driver Otto was on hand to answer all the children's and teachers' questions, provided information about the view of a truck driver in road traffic and showed all the functions of his modern MAN TGX with 64 m³ body and electric folding roof with great pleasure and even more pride.

The highlight at the end was of course Blicki the kangaroo, who, together with our managing directors Paul Stork and Martin Lorenz, congratulated the children on their successful participation. Each child then received a certificate.

We think the Blicki blickt's initiative is a great thing and should "set a precedent" so that dangers in road traffic are quickly recognized and all children get to school and home safely.
